Those who are from eastern Canada surely know about the former "Alliance Impériale". Well, this local StarWars enthousiasts group is changing its orientation and being renamed "Quebec's Costumers Alliance". A few partnership have been created with the 501st eastern Canada (Forteresse impériale), Rebel Legion, Stargate SG25, Ghostbusters SFM (S.O.S. Fantome Montréal), Clonetroopers (bouclier Canadien) and The Jedi Assembly. Therefore, if you are located in Quebec and not yet part of the Quebec's Costumer Alliance, you might want to head to their forum: forum-alliance.serilkath.net/index.php or website www.allianceimperiale.combut most mainly to the TJA section on it forum-alliance.serilkath.net/index.php?board=38.0I am moderator of that section - to gain TJA-specific access to it after you registered to their forum, please PM me (Yan Solo - Chevalier Jedi Olos Nay) - the TJA-specific posting is reserved to TJA-accepted full Jedi member. While that section is not made to replace the Canadian Spire section here on TJA's forum, it is a place where we will be able to display TJA locally and gain membership. We can also display TJA's activity to other local costumers and maybe get their interests in Jedi costuming. All in all, for local eastern Canada Jedi activity, please refer to forum-alliance.serilkath.net/index.php?board=38.0in addition to the Canadian Spire.

Sorry justin, but I might have to edit that last post of yours... the official language on TJA is english Joke apart, while the Alliance website is mainly french, english is gladly welcomed. No post should be left aside based on the language... as long as we keep in official canadian languages. There is already english posting being done, and the Ottawa guys from SG25 did manage to find their way in.

No post should be left aside based on the language... That's true for TJA also. Hopefully there will always be someone to help non-english language speakers to get across what they are trying to say.

Fun you say that...
When I was selected as moderator on the canadian section (now spire) I asked if there could be some french speaking posts - I volunteer to moderate it and even to localise it in a precise subsection.
here's the answer I got.

Fun you say that... When I was selected as moderator on the canadian section (now spire) I asked if there could be some french speaking posts - I volunteer to moderate it and even to localise it in a precise subsection. here's the answer I got. The council voted not to have a completely French board. But if someone doesn't speak much English, and there is someone around to translate, then they shouldn't be prevented from posting in their language. At least, that's the way I see it.

Seing how I originally asked if it was OK if some posts are made in french, my interpretation of the council answer was that everything should be kept in english... I said it then, I repeat it now - a monolingual forum is easier to moderate and I don't blame the council for enforcing a language they do understand. In any case, it isn't big of an issue as we have our own place to post in french whenever needed now I would like to point out... there's about 10 TJA members around Canada, 4 of which are currently around Montréal, all french speaking. I'd like for Kevin and Justin (Ontario) to join in the Alliance's forums as we do attend to common conventions. Same for some of the Northern Order people (Mainly you Leda - and you could use the occasion to perfect your french vocabulary)

They don't have the aurabesh font installed in any skins, but if you accept Alphabet fonts instead, you're all welcomed to do so
