Also never ever use rechargable batteries with the force fx lightsabers as they could cause potential damage and will never be as bright as normal batteries due to the voltages involved.
Rechargables put out approx 1.2volts a battery and regular batteries put out 1.5volts.

Good for you, Master Jorlac. I got to get mine the traditional way unfortunately, purchasing it myself, and I hope the store will take Republic Credits, LOL!

FYI (and thank god for science projects) I was able to find out which batteries lasted the longest. if you want a really good long lasting battery go for the E2 titanium from energizer. they last about 1/5th longer than the best duracel. granted I will be retesting this "experiment" next time I have to do a science fair project
