For the non-Andromeda fan... this is not double sided... in fact, one side is an emitter (blaster) and the other is where you'd put in the ammo (energy pack)... Also, the Force Lance can fire not only manually, but controlled to prevent ennemy fire, it can also be used as a flashlight, teaser gun and can be made to react to any other DNA then the owner (discharge). The ForceLance can also extend up to the size of a staff for close combat...
So, you eyes are deceiving you ^_^
Tanzan, I acquired raw moldings from a guy and assembled the prop, sanded/puttied it, and finally painted it with automotive paint. it is not 100% screen accurate, but I am VERY happy with the result.
