You need a camera with a higher frames per second rate to capture the flashes properly. Somethign around 30 fps really.

*Thanks jeffrek. I tried to set the webcam at 25fps, but the result is similar to the one at 10fps. Bummer. When I get another digicam, I'll post better vids.
*Thanks Lazlo. I figured too it gets the point ennough to be worth posting, but really the effect is way better then the vid can show.
*I am thinking about changing the led color. I have a 1W green, would like amber. What do you guys think.
Does amber registers as OK for a jedi? there are some amber/orange in the EU, so would it be considered cannon?

Blade color rules are as follows:
7. Lightsaber colors: When a saber is either rotoscoped for a costuming picture or recreated for a saber prop, a red saber can only be used in conjunction with a costume recreation of Mara Jade, Luke/Leia from the Dark Empire comics, and Adi Gallia. Furthermore, the only saber colors that the Jedi Assembly will allow are blue, green, purple, yellow, silver or orange unless dressed as a specific character. If a member wishes to recreate a Jedi character from the Expanded Universe, that character’s saber color must also be recreated. This is so characters and their respective saber colors are recognizable.
So yes, amber is between yellow and orange, so it qualifies. As long as it's not close to being red.
