I hope your dad lets you have it... I actually did a much better job on the second tunic than I did on my own...but my first one has sentimental value now (wore it at Celebration II) so I would rather part with the new one.... besides....it is a Jedi tradition!! Who can argue with that! ;D

no....i didn't get the e-mail... did you send it to: farfel51@hotmail.com
sometimes the "L" (lower case though) in "farfel" is mistaken as a number 1... either that or Fred Flintstone who resides in my computer and chisels my e-mail into stone before it gets delivered is sleeping...
bangs on screen.... Fred! Dude! where is my e-mail?
better send it again...Fred went bowling or to a Water Buffalo Lodge meeting!

How is the sleeve length?
Now you have to work on your tabbards and sash (the extra material should be more than enough for both...that is unless you are like over 6 foot tall ;D) and it should look amazing!

The sleeve length is actually just right... And I'll start work on the tabards and sash right away! ;D ;D

Great! I was kinda worried about the sleeve length...there would only be an inch or two to play with if the sleeves were too short...
You are now well on your way to Jedi Knight! I see by your number of posts that you are over half way there!

Made the tabards and the sash today.... I surprised myself; it actualy didn't take very long. So then I had to try on the whole costume..... ;D It looked amazing! A friend who was over was very impressed....as were the rest of my family....my dad took pics, so I should have them up soon. Now all I have left is a few odds and ends--I want to get a different belt (current one's nearly too small) and put a few more doodads on it. I also want to try to make some leather bracers....but we'll see how that goes. ~Ryss ;D

...cool!! Can't wait to see it... The tabbards and sash do go quickly...that is once you have decided which style you want! For me, making the decision is always the hardest part. I cut out a second pair of tabbards for myself, but have not gotten around to sewing them together. My first set were the Qui-Gon style that hang long in the back...this second set will be the Obi-Wan style....end at the sash in the back. Good job (as always) Padawan!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
