They probably wont like it, zorn. Unless you are not a wealthy kid living in the ghetto.

Yeah Xak, you were right. No one cared. Oh well who cares. It makes me happy right? All my friends are like "What does it do?" and i'm like "Uhhh.....IT'S JUST COOL!". My star wars friends liked it though.

Zorn Shalava'a -- don't let someone else's reaction get you down. After I had constructed my Lightsaber, I also had your enthusiasm-- I had taken it to work with me (co-workers know I'm into this stuff). Their reaction had "let the air out of my tires". But the people who realize what you have more than makes up for the ones who don't.
By the way- Sci-Fi folks have a descriptive name for those who don't understand our way of thinking......."Mundanes".

Hey Zorn, Congrats on your saber! Jeff Parks make some VERY nice stuff. My first saber is a Lightech T-900, and I too had a ceremony when mine arrived.
I like the fusion as well, and plan to pick one up at a Con Parks will be at.
EL sabers sure beat the ol resin, huh?

I like your term "mundanes" as well. I think that it'll really catch on.

Congratulations on your Fusion. I am also the proud owner of one. Though I did have to smooth off the grip where they didn't take care of the excess metal left over from milling the grooves in it, it was rough on my hands. That's the only complaint I have about it.
I also added some black pin striping tape, replaced the black, flat Covertec knob with one of Dave's silver dished out ones, and changed the brass thumb screws to stainless steel to make it more distinctive and personal.
What color blade did you get? I got the yellow, which I'm a little disappointed with because it looks kind of white when lit up (I already had a blue one that I got with my M2 a few years back).
arhhnuld, you may not be able to just "pick up" a Fusion at a Con Jeff is at. He doesn't usually have every model availble, sometimes just 3 or 4, and not all the blade colors, either. When I was at SD ComiCon last year (didn't make it this year), he only had the Graflex, the M2 and, I think, the Echelon. And he only had 4 blade colors with him, green, blue, pink and purple.
Here a couple of pics of my Fusion:

Right you are, Lorreen. I intended to buy from him at ComicCon 2004 but he did not have the fusion with him. The fusion is the only one I like as the rest have that big electro-something rectangle right were my hand would go. Mundanes has taken on a bit of a pejorative connotation. I've been replacing it with "muggle".

Congratulations. I also have a fusion & love it. I asked when I called parksabers what hilt would be the easiest to hold. I can't hold how should I say "large round hilts" very well. So I wanted something I could get my fingers around & feel that I could control it & not be too heavy either.
