Has anybody thought of, or done something similar to this? I was just about to log off when the idea popped into my head. I figure, since the Jedi order is outlawed during the original trilogy, wouldn't it make sense to have a leather tube or box to hide your hilt in? That way, you could affix it to a belt and nobody would even think twice about it. I plan to make a similar box in order to store my glasses in when in costume (I can see well enough without them). Ideas?

I had an idea that you might be interested in looking into, I'm not sure where I posted it tho . It was for a "hold out saber" and I dreamed up an appratus to hold it to your fore arm under your tunics.

supposedly darth sideous had an apparatus where it was up his arm, and when he needed it he drew it out with the force.

In my story "Ghost Blade" I have an additional flap of material sewn into my trousers to cover the saber as if hangs.....good for casual concealment.

If you could point me to that topic Xorren, I'd be much obliged. I'd like to pursue something like this in the futuere.

I like how in the EU, Corran Horn grafted the end of a hydrospanner to the tip of his lightsaber. I thought that was pretty cool.

Never heard of that, Aston, but good find. It gives me reason to resurrect an old idea.
A while back, I imagined a lightsaber that not only had a small blaster barrel on it, but a comlink and holoprojector on the back. If I remember right, it even had a Swiss Army Hydrospanner, so to speak.
