I've heard of clones with mouse droids, so Jedi from that era must have them. I have no problem making the remote indiscreet, but how can I vacuu-form a mouse droid and get the RC electronics?

Man, that RC MSE droid is a good idea. I had always just thought I'd cover a box in ducttape and pull it with a string.

I've thought about doing this as a project... never tried it.
You'd be better off starting with a tupperware storage bin of some sort turned upside down, get some busted VCR/computer circuit boards for the sides and figure out something for the top (nobody knows what was really used for that peice)... a little hot glue and a layer of black paint and you're good to go. Then just get an RC car, take the car shell off and attach it to the mouse droid shell and violé = your own mouse droid!

Plywood and i think im crazy, nice, maybe if you would prime the wood with grey primer . , you could hide the wood texture. I would like to try with platic sheet and some bondo to cover the joints. But my question is can you sand bondo???

so you could cover the joints with bondo, sand it and make it look like all on piece, right... But it is solid enough to cast or it is solid enough incase of a small hit???

Bondo would do the coverup... you'll still need to reinforce the joints before filling it with bondo.

took about 1 1/2 month. trick is to keep it light, especially if the RC car isn't that powerful; otherwise it's not gonna run so well over carpet. my canopy is about 9 ounces.
