I don't know how the community feels about these pouches but unfortunately I missed the last run of pouches from Diego. So until then I went with a cheaper alternative to tide me over until that great day when I hear him say, "The next run is on the way." They are actually very well made and also hand carved, so they actually look pretty good. I had to add some paint touches to them such as the gold on the grapple pouch and the black on the snaps of the other 2 pouches. Not too big at all, as I assumed they might be from the photos the guy has on Ebay, they also aren't too heavy either so no belt droop. I searched the net looking for any comments on these and the only thing I can figure is they are a newer product from this prop maker. The product actually is made and shipped from Germany and not Singapore like the seller himself. If you go to one of his best offer postings in his store you can save a bundle over the up to $40.00 highest bids plus $15.00 shipping he charges. Got mine delivered for $35.00 US shipping included and in ten days they were at my door. I understand they aren't screen accurate but as close as possible until the next run from Diego comes around. Just look for Costumebase on Ebay if you're interested. Pouches www.swellcast.com/images/pouches2.jpgBelt with the pouches before paint touch ups www.swellcast.com/images/beltdone.png

I was initially concerned the wood pouches would be too weighty. In addition, the color isn't quite what I was expecting. Here are Diego's prototype/artist proof that I have. It's got the detailing and weathering look. Ribbed comlink pouches - Ribbed wide pouch -

I tryied to sculp rots anakin's side pouch. It came out nice but i was my first try. My secound is on the way and it will real better. I guess the final result is depending on the kind of wood? Tell me Bryanakin, your pouches are coated with something, after painted and varnished? Mine you can still see the grain of the wood but with the paint it gives the look of old leather.
