Prior to CIV, I worked with my good friend the.rebel.agent down in Argentina to create this one-of-a-kind, first edition Clone Trooper style belt for my Clone Wars Jedi costume. It is based off the animated series where General Kenobi and Commander Skywalker wear Clone Trooper style armor including the belt as seen here:
One problem was purchasing just the Clone Trooper belt was not a possibility as many armor dealers wanted to sell the entire armor package only, not just individual pieces. The solution, therefore, was to create one for myself.
Another problem was the inconsistency of the images. Closeups showed functional boxes with signifcant volume. Distant shots showed a straight-lined belt. We decided to go w/ a leather solution that featured faux boxes and velcro closure in the back. In addition, to make it more comfortable to wear and to sit in, we decided to go leather, not abs plastic. This is the result:

It has since been painted dark gray to match the paint of the chest armor.
