after shopping around for some convertec clip and to see how much some dealer ask for shipping cost, like 25.00 U.S for shipping cost LOL It cost me that to recieve a MR FX for the USA. I decided to make my own clip. Its not the clip of the year but its original. I will post some pics and it will fully finished. Do some other people custom made thier own??? I would like to see some pictures

you can also use the swivel clip sets sold in many stores for cellular phones.

i was shopping on ebay where i found some converc clip and a seller was asking 9.00 for shipping but if you buy from his website he aske 25.00 shipping cost, I call that stealing big time

i did a search on the web, its the pretty much same clip i use but i glue 2 lego blocs to give a bigger look

Stey Fann, The high cost of shipping may be to Canada? I used to work for a retail/mail-order giftware company that shipped small packages (under 5 lbs.) and shipping out of the US was OUTRAGEOUS (what WE were charged). This was 15 years ago. But granted, I recently ordered 2 Covertecs for $11.99 each from the Custom Saber Shop at their regular online store www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/Scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=20 and shipping was still around $9, which IS high. I don't know what they charge to ship to Canada, but if that wasn't your original source, might be another option to investigate? I order a lot of clothing online (Lands End, Eddie Bauer, etc.) and shipping is always higher than I think it should be. I guess it's partially to cover for lost packages..... Loved the Lego solution -- very creative.  Our local Lego store at the mall has a lifesize Darth Vader that I'm afraid I covet.... |

when I got my covertec, I decided to get a small lot of them to lower the individual cost - I got 5 and they ended all included about 13$ canadian.

its about 10 years i play on ebay as a buyer and seller and believe me since about 2 years the fashion is to overcharge for shipping cost. U use thier shipping calculator and its say i dont know, about 25.00 and when you recive the package it say on the box 6.50. The guy say, well i did nt know. Well i dont really believe that at all. When i sale something the i give the shipping cost and later on i found out the ship cost its less for some reason, will i send the defference. Well thats me. But i dont understand with on a auction and on the webpage, its not the same price for ship cost
