Well, here it is, in its painful form. It seemed like a pain for me to make. I guess the first one of anything is always a pain. home.centurytel.net/CaptTechRaines/SmallerPics/BeltAll.jpg[/img]The pics aren't the best, but you get the idea. Its pretty much the same as everyone else's, with the exception of the closer in the back on the small belt instead of the larger. It holds fine with the saber on it, no sagging at all, at least not yet. Its an Anakin style belt, slightly different buckle is all.

Thought you all would get a kick out of this too. ;D Sort of a modern jedi, hehe Pouches need some work to make them work right, but, Still looking for the right fabric, then the sewing starts. Hardware's mostly done. Do I have the Qui-Gon thing working?

When you get your tunics together, you are gonna make a great Jedi... the hair and beard are great. I could never get away with that much hair Are those the boots you got from blockaderunner.com? They look great! I think I might get a pair now...

Nice job!
You do have the Qui-Gon look going there.
Interesting closure idea. It was hard for me to picture when it was just being talked about.

First off, Yes those are the Blockade runner boots, they are nice, weird color, sort of a purple tinge brown, im sure they can be dyed better later, but feel good on. I added some close up pics to the Boot Finds thread a while back, when i recieved them if you didnt see them. Secondly: The closure was hard for me to picture as well, I was so worried about makeing it too small at first. Drew a diagram, mesured about 100 times before cutting and all, hehe. This seems to give more flexability then the big plastic side release buckle some used. Velcro still seems the easiest on the big belt part instead. If I open the front buckle, this belt opens up enough to step out of it easily. If someone needs to open the belt all the way up, they would have to open the big keeper in the back. (for the big keeper, I used a wallet blank I saw on the wall when I was at Tandy, it looks huge, but it really isnt much larger then the width of the belt (2.5"), but thinner and easier to work with.) I left some extra on the small belt for adjustment, dont know if ill need that much, so i may shorten the extra off. (left enough for 1" tighter and 2" to loosen) The little extra belt keepers in back were an after thought when i was at Tandy, but dont know if their really needed. If someone didnt want to keep the belt all consistant, they could just use a regular pin buckle instead of the button heads. The front buckle was the one I ordered from Creative Design works ( www.cdwplus.com/singleMSRB.html ) the 3/4" nickle plated one. Nice buckle, just not movie accurate. Over all, It came out how I pictured it in my head, and I think the button head closure was worth trying out. I just thought the little belt MUST have been for adjustment, couldnt believe it was just decoration (even though they didnt do it for the movie props) Just had to try it. Thirdly: My boss makes me put the hair up at work, he likes it, just worries what the customers would think (like they would care). I dont really have more then a soul patch for a beard normally, it does look like more in that pic for some reason, but i was thinking of trying to grow it out a bit for halloween, it just dosent grow all that fast on me. Sorry if I got a bit long winded, guess im just a little proud of my work ;D

Nice belt.
Yes, you DO have the Qui-Gon look going. So, you'll need dark brown trousers, eh?

Definitely Qui-Gon! Great job on the belt! Are you going for the Qui-Gon style costume?

Great work and be as long winded as you prefer. No word limit here.:-) Excellant work. I like the 'modern Jedi' look. Pretty cool.

Don't know how I missed this, but I think that's a really nice looking belt, and seems to be practical and wearable too.
