Well here is my "generic" Jedi belt... I'm working on an accurate Obi Wan belt to match the rest of the costume, but this is the one that I as a Jedi wear Basically it is an Anakin style belt with Obi Wan accesories heh heh Ignore the quality of the images, I had to take them myself using my webcam Credit goes to Dave for the base belt and two of the pouches, I made the capsules and the found the medical pouch. The saber is attatched with a covertec clip in case it isnt visible in the pics. Comments welcome!

Very nice. Alot like I pictured mine when finished. (hope mine looks as good)
I wondered what a 3" would look like, 2.5" just looked to thin, so i bought 3", now I see I wont be disapointed.
Hate to add a negitive, but isnt it upside down? or at least the buckle?

Very nice job! I like the double score lines.
And, Jedi Magus, why do you think it looks "upside down"? Does the buckle always have to open on a certain side? Though I do see your point, I think I did my buckle the other way around.
If you are not a big guy, then a 3" belt sounds pretty big, to me. Being female, I decided to scale my latest belt down from 2 1/2", the width I'd a been using, to 2", I think it looks a bit more feminine.

NO, dont matter, im just used to seeing it the other direction. I was guessing the width, just by the food capsules in the pic.
and im 6' and 200lbs, pretty average if you ask me. Im still not sure to keep it 3 or cut it.

Just windering what type of material you used on the Jedi garb. Kind of interested in that type of fabric.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Hmm perhaps the buckle is upside down! It doesnt really matter to me, this belt is not meant to be a replica of anything. The belt is 2.5" wide, but since the leather is pretty thick it pushes the capsules up so they look a little smaller. They are made from the right pens... I know because it took me ages to find them here. The material on the rest of the costume is apparently a simple crinkle cotton. Its quite thin but looks thick, which is good when it comes to temperature. I got it from a source in LA, and he got it from Joannes, so it shouldnt be that hard to come across (If you live in the US; no such store exists here).

yea, I noticed that today, looking at some other publicity shots. It seems to change direction, depending on the photo, dont know if they didnt know, or if we are looking at reversed pics.

Lol well they DID flip Obi-Wan's braid around on film so I don't imagine photos were any higher on the continuity lines.

But notice that in both pics, his tunic closes in the same direction. Could it be that they just stuck the belt on him upside down? Or maybe it's a different belt altogether. I'm sure wardrobe is prepared with different costumes for publicity shots. I doubt they wore the same one throughout the movie.
