Greetings all,
I was recently going to purchase a new belt from Saberbelt.com
It seems however he has shut down his site for personal reasons and now I'm a little out of luck with a new belt, does anyone know where else I can get one made. I was planning to have Velcro as i shift my weight a lot.
Thanks

Yeah, its a real shame about saberbelt.com, i doubt we are gonna find that quality product and service anywhere else. Your next best bet would be eBay, there appears to be some decent efforts floating around there. I got my belt from Dave just in time.

There are some quality makers here on the board, you shouldn't have too many problems getting a belt - I am sure a few will chime in with what they can do... Dave

I have belts but I have to re rivet stuff everytime I loose or gain weight and it's's a pin, I need a belt I can put on. I talked to Mon-Jas.
Saberbelt, do you glue velcro on the belt or sew it?.

I'm lucky enough not to need an outside source for belts, since I can make my own.
I do help others with their's too, since I have all the necessary tools, but I just help my local fellow Jedi put their's together once they have all the supplies. I'm not making them from scratch for anyone. Yet.
Buckles are going to be harder to come by, now, without Dave as a source, but at least I know where to get similar rivets.

Thanks, I read that thread awhile ago. I knwo which method I wanna use but I need someone to do it, I don't make my own stuff anymore too much frustration over it.
I've talked to Mon-Jas and if he can sew the velcro it should be fine.
I hope

Ky Wan, I'd be happy lend any kind of help you and Mon-Jas want/need. Y'all want leather belt blanks I cna get 'em cuz the dude's down the street from me. Here's what they have Wide: 2" and 3" 2.5 " discontinued. Narrows: .5' (Half inche) 1.5 inches. (1 1/2 inches) They have dyes ranging from balck, brown latigo, In stains and oil rubs. Whatever you two need, I cna nab it if it makes your projects go smoother.. I can understand how frustraiting it can be to work on a project when either the time, money or supplies can't be found.

I guess I'm chop liver! ;D If you need help in pouches or food caps or belts I do know a little bit about that. I will be starting a web site or an e-bay store soon. If I can be any help please let me know. If you need to ask someone else about my work talk to BouriPlwel and Aston Jor-Cello. They have seen my work and own a few things that I make!

I just hope whatever caused Dave to shut down the site passes on and leaves him better off for it's passing.
