I just finished a new belt... this belt cost me about $5 to make, made from two second hand store belts and pieces I had around the house. It doesnt have any pouches or rivets, but I still think it looks pretty good, i especially like the colour img244.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=belt52cx.jpg

$5?? Wow That looks great. I like the edge stiching, was that already there or did you add that? Dave

heh no the stitching was already on the belts, I was lucky to find two different belts the right sizes and with the right stitching ;D Still nothing compared to your belts Dave....

Still nothing compared to your belts Dave.... Heck ya it is - that looks great. You shove some button stud rivets on there and that is just as good as anything I make. Remember, I make mine from a side of leather so labor wise I do a little more than what you did, but the end result is still an awesome belt The important thing, no matter what anyone else says, is that you are happy with what you have made. The important part of that is that YOU MADE IT and you are happy enough with it to show it off. You have proved to a lot of people that $5 can go far when you put your mind to it and get creative. ;D ;D ;D
