I've noticed that kit fisto has a slightly wider accent belt than other jedi. i used a 1 1/4" instead of a 3/4" accent belt. I found a cool buckle at Goodwill that made this possible. I also used a wax on this belt instead of the Raw finish as before. (see comparison pics) I did two new pouches, with a different groove design, these are much larger and use snaps in the back instead of sewing the belt loops on. The large one is specially made to fit my camera for CIII. What do you think? Dennis Comparison Shots of Belt #1TND

I like it! Never have I been a fan of the raw look! I always finish my belts with super shene improves overall look and protects your leather. Rudy G.

Very nice. I like that new belt.
I've been learning to do leather work myself. What is the tool called that you use to do the scoring lines? I have a groover, for when I do stitching, but it looks like those grooves in your belt and pouches are a wider and deeper than what that tool would make.

loreen, there are two tools you can use. 1) Adjustable Groover 2) Saddlemaker's Groover
The saddlemaker one is larger, but i've been using the one called the adjustable groover. The key is for your "first pass" to just barely scratch the surface, but ensure you get a straight line (also use a straight edge ruler) On the second and third pass, still use the striaght edge, but you can press (pull) harder.
Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Ah, ok. I do have the adjustable groover, I guess I just never thought of using it that way.
Thanks for the info, Dennis. And keep up the good work!
