leather dye

What brand of leather dye do you guys reccommend?
Which is the easiest? Which is the best?

thats kind of a vague question

What type of leather are you working with?
what type of look are you going for?
where are you getting your leather from?

just a couple questions off the top of my head. I buy all my stuff from Tandy and my Store Manager is there any time I have any questions - we have gotten close over the past couple years.

I guess the best thing you can do is ask the person you are buying leather from what they would reccomend.

Personally, for veggie tanned leather, I like the Fiebing's Leather Dye - good color choices and is relatively easy to work with.

sorry for the vague questions. thanks for answering anyway....i guess since this is my first belt...i dont know excactly what to ask.

I bought a 2.5" blank from tandy which I will be dyeing. I actually need a cleaner...cuz i have some old mauser pouches too...then a dye.

Thanks...any tips/tutorials on how to "dye" a belt?
