Seriously, though, it's a risk since most of you are new and don't all know eachother, but what are going to loose? $20 if you buy one clip? Not horrible. Worth a shot in my opinion. And we DO have a Trading Feedback Forum for just such purposes. If this idea flies, you can all post about it there and say who was involved, who paid for their clip and (I hope no one) who didn't. That way you build up trust and so forth as well as say who didn't come through. That's why that forum is there.

I'm really just coming out of mourning for my sister who died last year so this is my step at coming back in the world!
and I believe that there are honest people still in the world that are good
and besides the $$$$ goes to Dave so that good even if it didn't I would still feel good about the whole thing!

sorry to hear of your loss adam.

also if it helps you feel better, the FBI i believe (i might be wrong about the organization but it was one of the main state wide agentcies) has a department set up for internet fraud (cant remember the name right off that was set up just for internet fraud).
so they do not take kindly to people being ripped off over the internet.
with so many people doing business each and every day over the internet, an agency was set up just to handle internet fraud so it is no longer a matter of "well, chalk that loss up for experience". these people who are taking customers money and never sending an item are being prosecuted.

so keep all your records of any transactions that take place over the internet and if something was to ever happen, you could file charges with the B.B.B and the dept of the F.B.I. that handles internet fraud.

I ve delt with Dave on eBay and at saberbelt and all great transactions he seems to be a 1st classs guy all the way! as well as all the people I have come to know so far here at the forum!

i wanted to post this seperately,
seeing as how we will send our money to dave as you say, i am hopeing dave will have a list of who is on this bulk hook order so he will know what the money is for and who has sent their money.

i was under the impression that we would send our money to say Don and then he would put in the bulk order. then the hooks would be sent to him and don would send them out to the members.

either way is fine but we need to go ahead and thin out ALL the details before the last minute.
there is another board i can tell about the bulk order and maybe gain some interest so i will need to know the details to tell them.
as far as money sending goes, i know a send date and exact amount cant be set until we have enough ppl but who to send it too, will dave be sending the hooks to one designated person or to all those who ordered and all that other good stuff ppl will ask.

From what I read from both Dave and Don Solo I assumed the money would go to Dave but it really doesn't matter to me I can feel there vibe and get good feelings about them so I'm cool anyway it goes!

ok, well there's a few ways to go about this... any would work for me.

1: When we have enough to fill a bulk order, we let Dave know in here and everyone sends their money to him separatly. When he gets all the orders, he drop ships the clips to each person.

2: Everyone sends their money to one person. When the money is all collected the order will be sent to Dave with the list of addresses. He can then drop ship each person's clip separately.

3: The money is all sent to one person who places the bulk order, and the whole pack is sent to them. Then they ship the clips out to those who paid.

Now, I think 1 is what Dave is trying to avoid with only selling bulk orders on his site, and 3 is only if Dave can't drop ship each clip (send everyone their clip individualy). Are we all in agreement on this?
