I just came across a source for metal side release buckles similar to those seen on Anakin's belt. The price is great, and I plan to order some soon. Just wanted to pass along the information, as I know that many people want this style of buckle in metal. WOW! Those are great buckles. From the photo it looked like they came in brass, but from the discription they only come in black and nickel. If you see anything like this in brass, let me know.

You could always get the nickel and use a metal lacquer to change the color. I've done this on other props in the past with good results.

Yes, you could do that. I'm hoping that Strapworks expands their selection, as these are relatively new, I think...I had looked at their site before and the only metal side release buckles they had seemed to be anodized black.
All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and appearance of the buckles.
