it's white? It's not blue? Isn't it the same saber he has all along that Ben gave him?

I say blue. If you look closely at any of the movie sabers, the centers look white, with the color showing more to the outside.
There's my two credits!

Did you check recently? What I'm seeing isn't even close to blue. Unmistakably white.

I would like to say that the color of the blade is the type of jedi.
Blue is a jedi Guardein Green is a jedi counlser yellow is a jedi senital
sry for the miss spellings im really tired so i cant think how to spell the all.
a jedi Guardian defends and fights the sith and dark jedi they focis on saber training. a jedi senital is a jedi that is focast on force powers and meditation a jedi counsler is a mix of the two. the are keepers of peac and harmany in the galixie. like me ;D

To be totall onest i believe a jedi can do watever he likes with the crystals of his or her saber. but the jedi traditions are the three main colors. green yellow and blue purple is a unice blade color. it could stand for watever the jedi decides againts tradition of course. The making of a saber is one of the steps to becoming a jedi. so each should be unike.

Ok, so what's purple? Purple = Mace Windu... thats all there is to it. Of course Mace is a master of Vapaad, and that particular fighting style takes it practitioner very close to the dark side. So what do you get when you mix a bit of red into a nice blue blade? Purple! And Luke's saber is blue, but he could have had it on the "absorb" setting and thats why it looks a bit whiter than usual. He has an adjustable blade. Heheh.... ;)Phasers on stun!

Didnt Leia have a red or "scarlet" colored lightsaber? I may be mistaken... its been a while sense I read about it...
anyway... I am considering a red lightsaber when I make my first one. is that against lightside rules here or something.

I wonder if a lightsaber could be vaporized? Didnt Leia have a red or "scarlet" colored lightsaber? I may be mistaken... its been a while sense I read about it... anyway... I am considering a red lightsaber when I make my first one. is that against lightside rules here or something. Yes, Leia had a red lightsaber in the "Dark Empire" comics. The action figure I have sitting right here has Leia with her red blade. However, red lightsabers usually mean you are a Sith, so I would say that unless you are going to be Luke or Leia from the comics, or Adi-Galia, then no, we don't accept red lightsabers here. It has to be character specific to be recognizable. BUT, I will check with the Council to double check.
