Hey everyone,
I was just at the local Home Depot today, because I had heard of a few other people finding brass tubing there. I've looked all over there and all I can find is the chrome sink pipes. I'm in search of some brass tubing that I can use on my saber hilt. I wanted to find something like the chrome sink pipes, but in brass, but I'm not having any luck. I'd be using the brass tube to slip over the chrome tube, so I might have to cut a vertical slit in it to fit it over.
Just wondering if I can find them at Home Depot or someplace similar, where would they be? Thanks!

I used to be able to find some in Home Depot, but they changed back to chromed ones.
There's some (more expansive, longer and with more parts) kit with brass ones, however.
If you have the guts, you can sand down the chrome, the base of the chromed tube is brass, ive seen some people that done it. Its a long process however.

Thanks! To sand down the chromed pipe, I'm guessing I'd use steel wool? Or could I even wetsand it with 800 to 1500 grit?

wasn't there an online metal works site that sold aluminum and brass piping? I had it bookmarked but lost it when my PC melted down ........
