If any of you know where I can find and Anakin Episode 2 Hilt, since I need it for a costume I am going to be doing.

isn't it basically the same as ep 3 only with shorter grips. just get an o5 vader and get the alum emitter from ultra sabers it would be pretty close.

the are different from what I have seen, and I can not find a Vader 05 anywhere, I have looked and looked

if you want a light-on one, the converted vader would be your way. Unless you're lucky and score an EL MRFX on ebay. The empty hilt might be easier to find. Again, its mainly a matter of being lucky and getting it on ebay. Otherwise, you can do your own. My current saber is close to an Anakin EP2. Its a converted King Sol Flashgun with an ultrasaber alu shroud and a graflexshop socket, plus corbincomponnent cyan starIII and (changed yesterday!) a MRFX Luke ep3 sound board.  Doing it yourself sometimes is the best way out... |

yeah, because it has that gap between the clamp and the T-grips but how would you go about building it, the closet I have seen is the Episode IV vader but I wouldn't know how to change that unless you can cut off part of the T-grips on and episode V vader

I thought about converting the Vader ANH hilt as well, but there are several problems that are tough to get around:
1. The bubble clamp is not centered at 6 o'clock but rather off centered at around 8 o'clock on the hilt.
2. The clamp also has a clamp lock/switch that requries some cleverness to remove.
3. The hilt has the the E and S marking with small slits where as the Anakin has red and gree faux LEDs.
4. As noted earlier, the Vader grips are a T grip w/ cut/slanted edges whereas the Anakin is...not.
5. Finally, the actual Anakin hilt is significantly smaller in length and diameter than the Vader. Vader's hilt was made "larger" for Vader's gloved hands...and also b/c Mr. Prowse is huge, and it would look funny to have him hold a saber that challenges Yoda's hilt in smallness.
