I have made a few lightsaber for my collection but i wanted to make a double bladed lightsaber. Here's the final product, about an afternoon of work without the paint job Im very proud of the result

LOL, you wont believe that.... In the back of my appartment block, there is a huge container for recycling, and i saw that long piece of chrome scratched metal. As a recycle freak, I took it with me. With the full piece, it came out 2 standart sabers hilts and a double bladed one. Actualy this one is made of 2 pieces Its about 28 inches long, made to my size, im 6 feet tall. I can snap it to my belt, but i cant sit down LOL. Its scartched and i polished it, so it give that used look.

a lot of peole laugh at me, hey at 9.00 for 12 inches of chrome steel, VIVA EL FREE STUFF!!! And the most important, i reused something, instead to go in the trash. But at least it was in the recycle bin.

when it can be reused, its a lot better then trash and even recycle bin. You never know that the recycle center will do with the part - a lot of it goes to trash for various technical reasons. When its possible to reuse it, I think its wise... people aren't very environment friendly, that's why they don't understand. You should laugh at them for using their trashcan so much.
