question about building a lightsaber

I am seriously thinking about building a light saber just to give me something to do and I would like to put electronics in it any suggestions

ok I was thinking about building one of the sabers from the bigyellowbox but haven't gotten around to it, maybe I will do thecustomsaber shop they have like everything.

Cronto, if you're up to do something by yourself, I'd say go for it. Seeing the face of people when you answer "well, I made it myself" to the question "how much do they sell these?" is priceless.

I need to get a new driver for my EL...as it was just slightly too big, and the one that wasn't got one of the wires severed...well, sheered of of it.

here is the one I make with parts from TCSS. The guts are all from a Maul Saber. I'm thinkin of putting a royal blue led in, instead of green.
