monkeyjumpgod,
Nice work! I think each one is unique and creative. On the two that have blades (I assume those are polycarbonite), how did you mount the blade in the hilts? Are they sturdy enough for dueling or for forms?

actually they are pvc blades, in the first and third one they are simply mounted in the hilt via the rivvets. the rivets poke enough into the hilt to hold it perfectly, i just use an extra screw in the first one for security. for the second one, since it was thinner with no rivets, i simply just wrapped duct tape around the part that goes in the hilt, and friction holds it in, it doesnt come out unless you absolutly want it too. pvc makes very good blades, i have been slamming them around and they havent broken yet....and they are cheap as hell (3/4" pvc is what i use). i do want to upgrade to carbon fibre blades actually, mainly because they weigh almost nothing, and i want to produce that weightless look when dueling for fan films. pvc is a little heavy to create that look.
my next sabre im going to make (for myself at least) i want to make similar to master windu's sabre....mainly because its frekin cool.

Some of these sabers looks like it's been gotten ideas from Big Yellow Box.

ldi-ovef, nice job...i havent found hte courage to go looking for all those BYB parts at Lowe's/Home Depot....just finding all of the pieces is quite a project...you've done a great job putting them together... the third is my favorite....be cool to have a doublesided BYB luxeon saber too...if you wanted to add the electronics. my only critique is on the first and second one...looks like you could do a slightly better job of painting...some parts look a little smudged.
