After my fiance decided she wanted to have the first saber I made for her step-sister, I've had to do another one for her... It's based on Palpatine's saber, but with some changes for a two handed grip and a tubular rather than carved shape. I feel that it should have a purple blade because of the color, but would that really be appropriate for a padawan?
I just happened to have a lot of spare material left over from when I tried to make my own new saber, sadly, just not the right stuff to remake my own, that's going to mean spending more money
