Yeah, it's been raining here for the past 2 days... I hear the comet is so bright it can be seen in broad daylight... not bad...

The brightest comet in a very long time appears in the sky and it gets foggy for a whole week! Uhg! Story of my life!!

It's only visible in the southern hemi now... but Comet McNaught has been the brightest in a long time... -5 magnitude! Even visible in broad daylight when solar winds puffed up its tail! spaceweather.com/comets/gallery_mcnaught_page7.htmIf it ever gets sunny here again, I'm still going to look for it with a filter.

well the US is in the northern hemi... southern is below the equator... we'd have to go to Austrailia... or South America... or Africa... Oh well... the pictures are awesome.
