I just read an intersting little article on TF.N about Vader's chestplate. According to them, here is Hebrew lettering on it. Here is a photo: Now, do you think this is really meant to be Hebrew? Or is it "really" just an early form of Aurebesh? But there also is a translation for what is written: "He will not be forgiven until he has merit." OR "His actions/deeds will not be forgiven until he is proven innocent" Hmmm.... kinda brings another new light on Vader.

I would find it difficult to believe either Vader or the Sith Order was meant to be Jewish, though it sounds amusing. I never felt that Jewish people were that evil, at least not anymore than anyone else...
It does look like Hebrew however. My guess is that Lucas was probably counting on no one ever really get a CLOSE look at the cp, but he probably never believed in the power of the DVD-empowered fan (even though this bit of news has been a while for a long time)...
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA

May be ... I spent 17 years working in Theartre ... I worked on movies and at a Dinner Threatre ... When we would be building props or sets, we would do things to amuse our selfs ... This could be a time that the costumers, knowing the story line, wrote something just to have fun, an Easter Egg of a sort.

Yeah. An easter egg, I'll guess. You'll never see these things just watching the movie. It doesn't look meant to be seen from the audience. It's cool, though!!

Sith Prophesy? Is that the one? Or is it just plain old Hebrew?

An Easter Egg huh? Kind of like Lucas putting the E.T.'s From Spielburgs E.T. in Episode 1 in the Repuiblics Council Chambers.
