I finally got a chance to sit down and listen to all three of the commentary tracks from the trilogy, and I felt that, on the whole, they were very informative. However, while I greatly admire what Ben Burtt was able to accomplish with the sound FX editting, he sounds a little goofy at times when he's getting really excited about these truly bizarre things he found for various sounds So, here's my question: Of all the various participants in the commentary tracks for the three films, whose did you enjoy the most? I have to say that of all the individuals who took part, Irvin Kershner was far and away the most entertaining of the group. Yes, listening to Lucas and his take on various storytelling aspects was very enlightening, but Kershner, who turned 81 this year, sounds like a little kid talking about this film. It is clear that he is not only very proud of his work, but also very grateful to Papa George for allowing him the chance to make this film. Anyway, that's my take. I'd love to know what you all thought!

Kershner was by far the most entertaining of the bunch. I was ready to shoot Burtt by the time I was halfway through the first movie. Little did I know that he would talk the WHOLE time EVERY commentary!
