Got the new Insider yesterday and they have glorious shots of the new Jedi Starfighter. I am not going to spoil anyone, but parts look awfully familiar. I can't say I like it, and as a jedi, I don't think I'd want to be seen flying around in the ugly thing.

Gee, I thought it was kinda cool. I mean the wing part. The curved part of the wings that is .

I like the new design; very rugged looking. It should inspire that "shock and awe" in someone on the business end, a lot like the paintings of an open shark's mouth on the nose of a WWII plane. Good transition, too, to the OT.

Cery cool pictures. I'm not too keen on the starfighter's new look though. It's a good transition but it sort of looks likeit's cobbled together from parts of the old AEthersprite body with T.I.E. wings and parts of Zam's speeder. (Prongs on the nose.) i'm a bit strange, I happen to like the Nabbo 1 fighters far better. Too bad they couldn't use that body with a tuffer'engine'.

The link isn't getting me there & I really wanted to see it. I get shunted to stephouse.com, which seems to be a webhosting company. Guess I'll have to go to the bookstore & look at Insider.

Same for me as Zrissa. Luckily I got the Insider in the mail. Yeah, I see that and some other familiar original Trilogy things. JMD

I like the new look, looks more appropriate for fighting a war. I don't like the astromech hanging out of the bottom though

From what I saw I think that the new Jedi fighter is the perfect link beween AOTC and ANH, then with the other ship we'll see fm ANH, not the star destroyer thought... the transition will be great. Considering that the Empire is the Republic itself, there is no surprise to me about the look of the fighter. Like Don Solo it looks better for war time.

well.....I can see the why.... but have to agree....
I don't like it as much as the Jedi Starfighter of AOTC....or the X-Wings of the OT....

It is true that the X-Wing fighter is the best of all. I am actually creating a 1/6 scale one from scratch with a few lights, motors..., but that for another thread I guess... The ROTS Jedi Fighter might be the next one I do that scale...

My dream is to build a full scale model of a Delta-7 Aethersprite in back yard. You'll help me Xana.... right?
I got a new circ saw, so electrocution is no longer a worry!
Oh, and btw... anyone know when the new Insider should hit the newsstands? Ilooked today but Borders still had the last one displayed.
