Greetings! I thought it was time that I discover who is planning on purchasing SW:Galaxies when it is released? I am hoping that the members of this Assembly can come together and form a player association for game play in Galaxies.

I was considering it, but wasn't sure if other members of the Jedi Assembly were going to participate. I guess I can go pre-order it now...

All who have questions about this wonderful game should check out the website: www.starwarsgalaxies.comIt is a massive multiplayer online game with awesome graphics and great gameplay. You actually get to walk around on Tatooine or Naboo and interact with other players. And YES, you can actually try and become a Jedi!

I probably won't be buying it....sad to say...I have zero experience in the "gaming" end of Star Wars...and would be instantly killed or frozen in carbonite.... truth of the matter is...I have never played any video game......

I would like to get it, but I have a problem. The 3-D games make me physically ill. I get light-headed and nauseous after playing them for a few minutes. I think a lot of it has to do with my eyes (I only have one) and the motion of the 3D environments. My son has a lot of the SW 3D games (Rogue Squadron, Phantom Menace, Dark Forces, X Wing vs. Tie, etc.) and I can't play them. Otherwise I would be out there getting Galaxies immediately! The same thing happens when I go to Disney World and have to watch all the 3D movies they have there!

I'm sorry about that............... my wife has 3-d problems too. Playing UNREAL makes her ill too.
I hope that we can get enough Assembly members playing to make the game a fun experience.

[shadow=red,left,300]I'd love to get it but I have two problems. 1: I'm not sure my computer can handle it. 2: I'm not sure my wallet can either. Though getting to play that would be awesome.
I have a question though. Does anyone know how (or where) to play "Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2" online? I'm so lost it ain't funny!![/shadow]

For those of you who wanted to play SW Galaxies, the developers have posted the requirements. The developers recommend a computer of the following statistics: CPU: 933 MHz Memory: 512 MB Harddrive Space: 60 MB OS: Win 98SE, ME, XP These are the recommended requirements to get opimal gameplay. Hmmmm.....these look strangely like the statistics of a computer purchased within the past 2 years. The game looks awesome, but Sony Online is perhaps making a big mistake by preventing a portion of interested players from participating just because they don't have a speedy computer.
