I was looking through Wookieepedia today, and I saw this: According to the source info, this came from the AOTC Visual Dictionary. Note the padawan, on the left, has what appears to be a wrap around the top of his boot, like a puttee, but only at the top of his boots. Would this be legal for TJA? Personally, I think a straight boot looks sharper, but I'm sure someone will ask at some point...

Right on. Well...I guess I never noticed Master Windu, or as I like to call him, "The Windster," had boots like that. I'm too busy watching his "bad mo-fo" lightsaber action to notice his footwear. Nothing against premature grey...I've got quite a bit myself. But that guy looks like he has the face of a 25-year-old and the hair of my dad (minus the padawan braid, of course). But I suppose if Taylor Hicks can pull it off... Thanks for the help, everyone.

He's not that old, just has too much Ben Nye in his hair.

OK, since we'll all gotten WAY off topic... I have that book, but I had never noticed the texture of the Padawan's robe. In the pic posted here, it LOOKS like calcutta cloth! Hmm, now that would make for a much COOLER (temperature not ) robe at Dragon*Con. As for the hair, I thought it was supposed to be "alien" blue!

LOL!!
Intereting how the robe lengths vary. It looks as if her robe has a slight eliptical hemline. I wish they had published more photos of Jedi like these. It shows how varied the Jedi costumes are, yet they stick to a certain, definable style of dress.

I have that book also...never noticed the texture... boy...do those boots on the "padawan" ever look familiar... once again... taking something familiar...adding a little something extra.. ...and bingo.. ya got Jedi... it looks like they took a short boot and added height by that tan strip - you can still see the seam of where the old boot came to... I agree-too much Ben Nye...that guy ain't old! I am an expert on old...

Absolutly that'll 'fly' Cozmo. The visual dictionaries are where I'd gotten inspiration before I really saw the movies.
