I believe it's 1.5 sizes, but I'm not sure whether or not that factors in width.
I'm curious myself...

It's 1.5 sizes larger, converting men's to women's. going the otherway, I wear a 7.5 women's but a 6 in boy's.

Yes, if you are a man, add 1.5 to get your equivalent shoe size in women's
This is the online shoe size conversion chart that I like to use. It does international conversions as well as the conversions between men and women.
Width is a little tougher to guess. That is not sized consistently. As long as the shoe does not have pointy toes and looks exceptionally narrow (and your feet don't have any special requirements) it will probably fit most people if the size is right.

This Payless boot does come in wide, though. I tried on both at the store and compared them physically. There did not seem to be much, if any, difference, though.

try the on line store...they are still available there and you can save on shipping by having them shipped to your local store.

I did actually buy a pair of these but I took them back. They were on sale for $26.99. I just decided I liked the regular shiny leather look better than suede is all. Nice looking boot though

I tend to prefer the smooth leather over suede, too, though with a longer tunic, the suede might be fine. I think Ki-Adi Mundi is the most prominent Jedi I can think of with suede boots.
I also don't like zippers. There really isn't anything wrong with zippers on the inside of Jedi boots, I just like them without.
