very nice looking! i would also say worth the price too. I have a custom made pair of Moccasins from Catskill Moccasins (made long ago when I had money) that are still the most comfortable things I have ever worn.

Yeah, I think they are really close in design, has anyone bought from them before? How is their service?

they look pretty neat, and a great price too. diaz needs to advertise in here, instead of ebay.personally i'm not an ebayer!lol! again the price, 200.00 cheaper than motorcowboy, awesome!, couple color suggestions, a deeper brown, and a lighter brown, and maybe a black.
i would like to also see ki-adi mundi's boots made, and plo-koon's boots, my two cents worth.

I can't recall Plo-Koon's boots but I think Ki-Adi's are some type of pirate like boot or something along those lines.

i'd have to look at the action figures to see. they seem pretty close i think. i'll let you know what i found, in my inspection, lol!
after the inspection this is what i saw for plo-koon's boots:
medium to dark brown boot, has a molded spat, which looks to be squaredon the shin, and angled around the calf, the shin gaurd is seperated from the outer arch, this peice looks to be molded to the shape of foot, and rivieted to boot, the shin gaurd has three straps to hold shin gaurd plate in place, could be adjustable buckled straps, abit small for me to notice.
ki-adi mundi boots:
light carmel color boot, fold down top peice, same color, looks to be tied and then rolled down, has dark flat/wedge soles, has five small strap and buckles not exactly to the side, but more to the back and outside calf of boot, almost moccasinesque.
i hoped this help you and any boot makers out there.

I can vouch for Carlos Diaz 100%. He made my Adi Gallia style boots. They were displayed on eBay as gloss black with leather soles. He modified them to be the oiled rustic brown leather and put on the knobby vibram soles (extra $40) for me. He also cut the tops square (called "stovepiped") instead of being higher on the outside and lower on the inside (like you see in most english equestrian boots). So please don't hesitate to email him about any mods you need on your boots. I think the best thing about my boots is that they come way up to the knee, and they are a perfect fit around the calves ... not too loose. He makes sure to get a boatload of measurements from your feet so that they end up fitting perfectly. I do recommend that you wear thick socks to measure so that the finished boot will have room for a gel insole from Dr. Shoals. The insoles he includes are padded, but not the best for long wear. Oh and give him time to make them. He sometimes gets backed up a bit. Mine took 10 weeks but it's definitely worth the wait to have boots that fit like reeboks. ;D And tell him Bill Costigan recommended him! ~ Koda
