Anybody have experience with these? I'm looking for a placeholder until I can nab some quality, lasting boots. I am learning to make boots from an extremely talented friend, so I might go that route in the future. $40 American is not bad for those boots, although I'm sure they're just cheap vinyl. I'm not sure about shipping, though.
Also, what size do you think I should order? I wear a 12 normally, but that can be loose sometimes. I fit an 11.5 more comfortably and can squeeze into an 11. It seems you can order a medium, which is a true 11, and a large, a true 13. So should I go for the 11?
Thanks guys!

I don't know anything about ECC. Do they have a web page.
My personal rule is never, ever risk getting boots that are too small. You can wear thick socks with boots that are large, but boots that are too small will torture your feet.

It's Eastern Coast Costuming, now called 911 Costumes. Heres a link: www.911buycostume.com/Pages/gogoboots/boot01.htmScroll a little over half way down to see the "Military Riding Renaissance Jedi Boots Brown" I measured my foot today and found I've been wearing a shoe one size too large for my adult life. The 11 should fit comfortably. Has anybody had experience with this company? Thanks! Crowen Grail

I purchased a pair of the brown boots for my first Jedi costume last year. They are made of pleather but I liked them. They were not to hot and didn't fall apart as other people have reported. I have worn them to the opening of RoTS, halloween, The Chicagoland Collectors Expo and a SW hockey event. So far I haven't had any problems. I always believe you get what you pay for and I'm sure they wouldn't hold up well with everyday use but they are a good starter boot. I have since purchased another set of boots and these are now my back up.

I as well own the brown boots from ECC and like them. They fit my budget and are easily cleaned and worn. Beware- buy insoles to go with them!!!!!!

I ordered mine from a local costume shop that orders them from ECC. I paid maybe $40 and got them within a week and a half.

i got my boots from them, nice price, and looks and feel great sizes up a 14 for us big footed jedi. plus they also fit the big legged calved people. example my calf is 22 1/2 inches in diameter, and the boot is 19 inches tall, cost around $50.00 with shipping and handling. i wear them when ever i can. my experience with ecc, was wanderful, i recomend them to anyone.
