if you're going to add some spats...i say go for it. otherwise....you might look like a jedi with kiss army boots. would need to see pics to make a definate statement, though.

Well I too am still lookng for boots, and also have been seeing some laced boots that look nice. IMO it seems to me that since no two Jedi have the same style the only common thing being the fact that they all are high top I'd think that it shouldnt matter if they are belted, bukled, or laced. I really like the ones i saw at Payless by Airwalk. They are high top suede laced and they also look very comfortable which for me would be a plus not to mention the price of only 29.95 Sure beats 129.95 for the ones I had settled on at nordstroms. Well im off to the mall this week to shop, they have all the shops there that I have been surfing over on the net. I've no time to buy online and make it for halloween so I got to get them local off the shelf. Hehe, and yes im going with the women's section as I have seen nothing in men's that even come close unless im willing to part with my entire paycheck.

Hmmm, not sure who you asked for the link, but here are the suede/laced airwalk boots at payless im looking at for 29.99 But then there are these at nordstroms for 129.95 which I like for thier traditional look, and i suppose i could add some straps too : Awww heck I dunno, may just go bite the bullet and get both. What ya's think?

Yeah, I saw those too, but for whatever reason I never made it back to JC penny's the other day. I think I had already gotten too tired to walk around anynore that day and had gone out to my car to rest a bit, but then decided to go home. I think I was just too tired to remember what I'd seen and where...........LOL! Let's see If I can get a pic up here,.............concentrate,................: Yeah, I may have to go back and see if they got these in a size 11, and go for them. They do look pretty good and Jedi like. As you know already JediKai, I did get some boots that day, though not where I thought I would. At Fred Myer's for 80 bucks : And well I think I just may be ready for an uploadable pic to submit.

Yes they are womens, and so are the ones at Nordstrom's, however Nordstom's didnt have any of the one's I'd scouted out on their site, thought they kindly offered to order them I kindly told them : Order them I can too, but have now, im here to find. ;D
I sent you the relavant info on those one's at Fred Myer's quick2, I hope you find them, and I hope they fit you as well as they did me. Now they didnt seem to have them in different width's, they just are what they are. And as I said, I wear a size 9 in mens, so I went with a size 11 on these.

The Jolie boot didn't fit. The boots Shafo found at Fred Meyer are also available at JC Penney Southcenter. When I was there last Wed to pick up the boots (that didn't fit) they were on sale for 40-50% off. I tried them on but decided against. I have good Jedi boots now, they just aren't comfortable for several hours of standing.

I hear ya Jedi Kai.... I tried on the ones at Fred meyer.. they look good but for hours..it may not work. The ones i have now are comfortable, and they are the same height. I just liked the design of the ones from fred meyer.
