I am in the process of assembling a Jedi costume. I have a question about boots. I really like the Anakin style boots. They are brown, so they should match fine with a brown belt and a light colored tunic (I am making a Jedi, not a Sith). My question is: Is it taboo to wear Anakin boots with a Jedi costume?

I don't think there's any problem at all since
1) It sounds like you are following all the guidelines in the costuming requirements.
2) Complete Anakin costumes are allowed, as long as he is still the light side (no yellow eyes, for example).
3) Appropriate boots are hard enough to find as it is, without adding restrictions like "you can't wear Jedi A's boots with Jedi B's costume".

I see No problem at all, they are tall and brown, and in a Galaxy far, far away more than likely a common style. Personally, I always wanted a pair like Qui Gonn's, I think they're very cool.

Yeah.... Anakin is a Jedi, so it's fine.  Even when he turns Sith, it's still a Jedi costume. |

As a hyper-critical Anakin costumer, who can only afford one pair of boots...I wear mine with my customs  Boots are boots, even the CG characters used Obi-Wans boots Most people do not even realize the differences from Anakin's to Lukes boots, so I say you are in fair territory |
