For hand made, leather boots AND the pouches....I think it's a decent price. Nice boots, from the photos.

Actually, I never bidded; I submitted a best offer on one of the fixed price auctions and they accepted. Besides pouches, they also have robes, belts and complete outfits. Good luck getting one. The boots are nice, not a cheap pleather. And this was right in my price range whereas the ones from Celebration studios start at $175. |

if it is the buyer i think it is, the sewing quality they do is great on the costumes i bought one, but the quality of the material is not the best. they are very thin. the boots look good tho, not sure if i can fit into a size 11 tho hehe.

Boots seem to be good quality. I bought a 11.5" boot even though I could've went 11.25" length but I figured in case I put an insole in, I want it to fit with no problems. Its not like I can just go to the store and return it, or mail it inside the US for a return. Mailing to Singapore is no small chunk of credits.

Can't comment on the quality of SmokeSthingy's boots and pouches for I have not seen them up close, but I have dealt with them and they're good dealers.
However for another $100 you could've had this pair of boots made to measure and shipped to you.
I believe the leather and the craftmanship are superior to SmokeSthingy's boots. The price do not include pouches though.
Actually you can have a pair of custom made boots of almost any design for that price, as long as you can provide reference pics.
I recently had the EP3 Obi Wan boots (seen below) made and mailed to fellow TJA member Seda Navilli.

I got my belt from Smokesthingy back in October. I'm very pleased with the workmanship. I'll get my pouches from him when I can afford it.
