I did get my Jedi boots on ebay and they were *stiff* and pinchy when they arrived. They were the ones that made a blister the first time I took them out. They felt rarrow around my toes even though they looked the same width as other boots I had that fit fine. So, I knew I could do something with them. I ran hot water over the toe part and then jammed a pumice stone (the kind you use on the callouses of your feet) crosswise into each for a few hours. The stones had rounded edges that didn't leave angular impressions poking outward and I used a rubber mallet to hammer the stones in a bit. I did this multiple times before those boots finally got the message. They passed the walk-a-mile test with nor blisters or sore spots.

hehe beat ''em into submission.:-D hehehe Yes, it's always better to torture your boots first, before they torture you. A shoemaker would have been my first choice, but 'taint any around here, or at least not where I can get to.
