thought I've never tried it, there's something called Nu-Finish that should do the trick. It's made fro Leather I beleive but people have reported decent results on Vinyl.

yes, the nu life should work and i have heard good stuff about it. i had posted a similar question on another board about changing black from brown on a leather belt. it was suggested to first use something (cant remember the name right off) to remove the old dye before applying the new. BUT this was suggested for leather so dont know if it would apply for the vinyl.
best bet is to take the nulife and try on a small part of the boot that isnt in a very noticable area and see what happens.

Check this link out. I did this and it worked great. Check with a local shoe maker, for the prep liquid called "Deglazer". This cleans all the grease and oil off the Vinyl or rubber. www.jedi-academy.com/ep1_kenobi_boots.htmlMy Boots
