[glow=purple,2,300]I'm 6'4'' or so. Give or take an inch I think. I weigh a whopping 270lbs too, but I don't look an ounce over 230. Thanks for the welcome. [/glow]

[shadow=purple,left,300]Yeah, that's me. On the highest point of Atlanta's Stone Mountain. That's over 700 feet in the air I think. I don't remember. But if you're not familiar with it, don't be amazed or anything. I took a train up that big rock and it's no big feat. But I think it makes me look fat because my pants are huge. Oh well. [/shadow]

I'm trying to figure out the coustme thing what about color does it all have to be brown or black some purple or green somewere would be cool HELP!! I like the docs!

[shadow=purple,left,300]Well, let's put it this way. There is no wrong way to make a Jedi costume. It is YOUR costume and should be done the way you want it. I would stick with the riding boots though. Slippery they may be, but I have yet to see laces in any Star Wars movies. But like I said, your costume. Mine is all black, like Luke ROTJ, but without the Michael Jackson glove. [/shadow]

It would seem that most of the Jedi wear brown boots. BUT what matters most is....are you going to be duplicating a current Jedi or making your own Jade1 variation?
I started off by wanting to duplicate Obi-Wan's exactly...but as I have looked over the Jedi in Attack of the Clones, I find that they are by no means identical. So whatever you choose.....it will work! The only thing that I have discovered is that all Jedi have these things in common: A lightsaber A Robe (most are dark brown/med brown..some tan (Nitko) some have no sleeves (Ki-Adi Mundi)) A pair of boots....the variation is also incredible...most have a "spats" type thingy on them...
So.....whatever you got...should work....try searching e-bay for used boots too......that way they will already looked worn from a lot of missions....if you keep searching long enough...I am sure you will find exactly what you like and for a really reasonable price...

Hi! Well, I got some brown, knee high boots, and they were only 3.99!!! So, I would suggest that people check out their local Thrift Store. I was really lucky, because I found mine on my first trip to the Salvation Army, but I've taken my brother all over, and we haven't found anything yet. But check it out for cheap boots!

On The subject of slippery soles on your riding boots, I remember going to the shoemaker when I was younger and having something put on the soles to prevent slipping in my riding boots.

IF you can find a shoemaker.... the last one we had here in town closed up shop years ago...as have most of the ones I knew as a kid.... Is there such a thing anymore? Since it is now a "throw away" society....it may be difficult to even find a shoemaker!

Hello it is the not so confussed Master Darken agin I think if I can I'll ed up with a jedi coutume that has diffrent looks for diffrent missions. The doc's a re cool but I thought of something what if the laces got tangled up in a missin trying to escape or something. So I'll figure out an alternative or a cool way to cover them. Oh yeah I saw some knee high boots at wal mart Black for about $16 but they kinda hurt my feet.
