I don't know if anyone else caught this or not, but I was just watching Episode 2 here at work on my computer (real busy day for me, let me tell ya!) and at the end of the battle of Geonosis, after Dooku arrives on Corusant to tell Sidious that the war has begun, the next scene shows Mace and Obi-wan standing in the Jedi Council room. However, Yoda is the only one with a chair in there that he is sitting on. I wonder what happend to the other 11 chairs in that room. Anybody else catch this, or have an explanation why all the other chairs were gone?

I just thought they were in a corner of the room near the windows and only one chair was near enough to be in the scene.

They were melted down for resources for the war effort Seriously, dark and disturbing this puzzle is.

It was after hours and they were waxing the floor? Seriously- I'm with Tenric: the tight camera angle only showed Yoda's chair.

Are you absolutely shure that they were in the COUNCIL chamber? Look up the article on Wikipedia on the Jedi temple. It seems to me that there is more than one area in the various spires that look similar.
Now to real life reasoning. Tight camera angle, lazy animatiors that saw no need to draw half an arm on a chair.

I have often thought about that. I just figured that they only set up the chairs when council was in session! heheh... or yeah, maybe they were polishing the floor! In RotS, when Anakin is sent to the council chamber while Mace and company go to see Palpatine... all the chairs are there. Maybe they just got lazy and left them set up because council was meeting so often.

Yea I kinda had the same idea, that maybe the chairs raise from the floor or something as needed.

These are good points, but I still think that they were in the Council Chamber, because Yoda's chair is the same that he always sits on, and it's in the same place. If the camera angles were the issue, you would still see chairs by the window where Mace and Obi-wan were standing, and you would also be able to see the chairs that Mace and Ki-Adi-Mundi sit on wich are on opposite sides of Yoda's. If they were in Yoda's meditation room, where he heard Qui-gon's voice yelling, "Anakin, Anakin, no!" there would have been those round cushions that he was sitting on.

I noticed it, but I figured it was merely the tight clsoe up camera angle on Yoda.
