Everything was very clear to me about what was going on, who was fighting who and what the Sith were doing the first time I saw AOTC. And I was avoiding spoilers everywhere; I didn't look at pics, previews, commercials, anything. I wanted to see it un-spoilt. I really like AOTC; there is just so much stuff going on in it. I didn't think the 3PO stuff in the arena was that funny -- though I did laugh when the battle droid said, "I must need maintenance." The 3PO stuff was just Lucas's sense of humor; sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. And it's just not SW if you don't have R2 and 3PO.
I was so sorry to see all those Jedi get killed! But ROTS was a hundred times worse.
Now, LOTR...I had to look up references and watch Two Towers a second time to figure out who was doing what with that one, especially for Helms Deep...though that movie is well worth multiple viewings.

During the battle between the forces, I'd have to say that i really liked those big 2 wheeled things, and I really like the DroDekas, they are cool. I loved the Arena critters to, but felt really bad for the reek after I read the novelisation.

There are many ways to learn the ways of the Force, but only those who have joined it may know best.

Yeah them, I was having a senior moment, but figured you all would know what I meant. I thought they were cool.

To Leda's point... It's also important to think of the Battle of Naboo as a simple little skirmish. You're right. The Battle of Geonosis was the irrevocable, galaxy-wide trigger. It was Germany invading Poland. Or maybe from an Amrican point of view, Pearl Harbor. No one's life was the same after that. on this point who were the germans invading poland, in retrospect of the whole saga and the empire, im not so sure the droids were germany....if you think about it
