I'd have to go with Mace. Three reasons...Vaapad, after reading Shatterpoint & SLJ is such a tough guy  Please don't hate me Ewan  ....I still think your the best looking Jedi!  |

I have to go with Mace also. His Vaapad style is just hard to beat. Obi won't look bad, though

I think Obi-wan would be more likely to win...his defensive style could definately outlast the Mace's more aggressive styling.

as far as the theory and the official writings on the styles, obiwan would win. by episode III they were both masters of their respective styles, but obi-wan's style was more defensive and a master of soresu was considered untouchable. there was actually a writing (i think it was one of the movie novelizations) where yoda and mace sparred with obi, and he kicked both their butts.

Obi-Wan would definitely win! In the EIII novelization, Mace tells Obi-Wan that he is basically one of the best Jedi around, because he had not mastered just one style but knew many. I think he even tells Obi-Wan that he is stronger than him (Mace), which Obi-Wan was very surprised to hear. So, I go with Obi-Wan...though I would have gone with him any way, since he's my favorite  ! |

he had defeated Darth Maul maul was very agressive style like Vaarpad and the only way Maul had the advantage on him was because of Obi's emotion quenched his atunement with the force

Indy vs. Solo - I'd say a draw
Maul vs. Grievous - Maul, hands-down He was cheated out of having more screen-time in the saga.
Anakin vs. Luke - FYI...this was already decided...see ROTJ...LUKE!

Also, on the Obi vs. Mace issue. Very hard to measure. I tend to agree that based on what we've seen...and the novels, Obi would be the victor. His style is so defensive that nothing can defeat. And yes, yes...I love SLJ as well, but got to give this one to Ewan.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that my character is based on Obi-Wan, either ;-)

Well, if you think about it...Luke Vs. Armored Vader was a little off-balanced...and Luke won....but previously, Vader had beaten Luke on Bespin. Seeing them both at their peak would be interesting. (Hayden vs Mark as opposed to Mark Vs. David/stuntman) |

According to something I read a while back, Luke at his peak was supposed to be more powerful than Anakin at his peak.
