Which one are you getting and why? I wanna get both, but if I can only get one I'm goin' with widescreen.
Btw, if you think widescreen is just an annoying version with black bars go here: www.starwars.com/episode-ii/feature/20020925/indexp2.html ::shoves Nyst:: And don't come back 'till you've read the whole thing!

Widescreen! How could you even ask? You get to see the entire movie as it was meant for the Big Screen. Plus on my-to-big-for-my-Family-Room TV, the black bars matter not. ;D

[glow=yellow,1,0000]Dude... is there any question? WIDESCREEN all the way baby!!! thankfully I have a 27 inch TV so the widescreen stuff doesn't bother me really. I can't really watch any movies in full screen anymore lol. [/glow]

I shoulda known. LOL If I'm lucky though, I can talk my mom into getting something big this time. We need a new TV 'cause the one we have won't hook up to the DVD player. ::crosses fingers::

If your television is 13" or smaller, I'd say go with fullscreen. When you're in the 13"-19" range, I'd say it's a toss-up. Bigger than that, definitely go with the widescreen. If you don't, you're missing a major percentage of the original image.

I hope to get a DVD player next week. Like the widesceen, though sometimes the bars annoy me. I have to figure out if the TV will hook up to a dvd player, it should, it's not that old.

Nope! But I hear it's easier to see some of the Easter Eggs on the full screen edition.

Think I found the machine of my dreams, it's a flatscreen, 20 in. stereo TV w/ a DVD player and VCR built in and an AV hookup on the front, and a very reasonable price. Tho8ught about a home theatre, but in my apt. I won't really be able to do much w/ all that sound at the hours that I'm usually home, and the hookup would probably drive me nuts, and I'd probably need a new TV to hookup a DVD player and all that, plus all those cables, EEEEKKKKKK!!!!! I like this more all the time.

PS, I got both on DVD, when they were $10, plus the full screen on video, 'cos I forgot to look, it was the last copy of it at that price, but what the heck! I got all three copies for $30.
