Ky-Wan Zann stood on the balcony that overlooked the cityscape of Coruscant.
He had come here to catch his thoughts as he waited for his Master to finish up a meeting with some other Jedi Masters. Briefings were becoming a daily routine now that the Clone Wars were in full throttle.
He had learned that his friend Master Kai-Rhann Jerra had been summoned as well. Normally he was sent on missions to the Outer Rim, but being that more and more Jedi were needed he was for the most part still well within the system.
Kai-Rhann had just taken a new Padawan learner. Geo-Ki Zeruel. Her Master had been killed during the War and Kai-Rhann had taken her as his own Apprentice to complete her training.
Ky-Wan had met her shortly after she had been accepted as Kai-Rhann's Apprentice. The two Padawans had formed a friendship quickly. Both also had much in common. Both were almost ready for their trials.
When he had received word that Kai-Rhann and Geo-Ki had arrived he had sent word for her to join him here shortly, to talk of the war, the Force and of course chide and tease the other as they had warmly come to do in the course of their friendship.
In this time of darkness and uncertainty he was glad to have the friends he did. He had lost many since the war began, no more then several friends who were also Padawans that were killed on Jabiim.
he folded his arms in his dark robe and took a deep breath as he waited for his fellow Jedi to arrive, if she would.

Ky-Wan sighed a tad as he knew their appointed meeting time had passed. He turned and headed back through the doors to the Holomap Room on the otherside and through that the hallway and Turboloft back down to the main building of the Temple.
On his way down he had time to reflect on many things, the Force, the war, his possible trials or at least preliminaries were overdue according to many Masters and even his Master, Jil-Qun who it seeemd was all to happy to show what his Padawan was 'made of' to the other ruling members of the Council when the time to show his prowess came.
It made him happy. His Master had been pleased by their years of Apprenticeship and Ky-Wan was equally happy about it.
Ky-Wan decided to head down 'The Great Hall', a amin area of the temple that seemed to run on forever, he often saw Masters Yoda, Windu and Kenobi making their way down it discussing matters.
Perhaps he would still run into Geo-Ki or another Jedi. He was in a mood to talk. And it's soemthign he didn't have an urge to do too often, what with all the brooding he did.

If anyone Padawan in Rank or a Knight about the age of 20-25 would like to join in please do.. It's just a story really for conversation between us Padawans here. Not really a plot destined to go to War or anything, just a sort of reflective peice on our characters and our Masters.
