First, I'm sorry I took so long on this. Second, if you watched how quickly I wrote the first story, I can tell you that this one will likely not be posted that fast.
STAR WARS:
BETRAYAL OF THE SITH II :
THE REDEMPTION OF KYLAAN MIITA
By Matthew Holdren
Prologue
1 year after Kylaan Miita's fall to the Dark Side, Jedi Master Tempora Miita has begun to have visions about her brother. Jedi Master Yoda has taken on the task of trying to help her understand these dreams. Meanwhile, Tempora has taken a new Padawan Learner, a Malastarian named Skessa Rayin, who tries to convince her Master to go back to Tatooine to search for Kylaan . . .
Chapter I
A child . . .afraid. A male . . .Refi Smega, perhaps? No, a stranger . . . an unknown male child . . .terrified. A shadow loomed over him, dark and very large . . . leaving the boy in blackness. The boy ignited a lightsaber, its green blade lighting the area around the boy and exposing the fear in his eyes. The shadow moved in closer, ever closer. The boy rose form his seated position on the ground, trying to be brave against the shadow. As he did so, he realized with horror that the shadow was just a shadow, being cast by some one or something that wasn't there. It was a living, breathing, moving being. It was a shadow being cast by nothing.
The boy realized that was face to face with the Dark Side.
Although terrified, the boy could not keep from approaching the shadow, reaching out to it, touching it. The moment he did it surrounded him, swallowed him, overtook him. His saber disengaged and immediately re-ignited itself in a blade of blood red. His fear instantly transformed into blind hatred. When the evil of the Dark Side had completelt consumed him, he opened his mouth and uttered one word.
"Tempora."
The light came flooding into Tempora's eyes as she sat bolt upright in her bed, fighting to hold back a scream. Her sight was still blurry with sleep as she looked around the room, at first not even realizing where she was or that she was even awake.
And what a mess to wake up to. Her quarters looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in a month. Clothes, supplies, and containers, all thrown here and there without a care. After the loss of Kylaan on Tatooine, she didn't concern herself with such things. She didn't care about much of anything.
After wiping the sleep from her eyes, Tempora finally managed to focus on the entry door to her quarters, and was a bit puzzled to see that it was opening.
"Still having the dream, you are. Hmm?" Master Yoda inquired as he entered the room.
Tempora managed a nod.
"Ah. And," the wise Master continued, approaching the bed where Tempora sat, "still feel you the same?"
"Yes," Tempora finally spoke, "it is Kylaan."
