Ok I have seen everyone has talked to death about Obi wans memory about R2D2 but here is one I don't see many talking about and if you have forgive me then lol. CP30 was made on tattowen?? SP by skywalker dad I mean lol he was there when his mom and the guy who free her and hes son soon to be Uncle was there. Now in ANH he see CP30 now yes just about all Drods like CP30 look alike but you would think he would say when he was buying him...You know you look like a droid I was knew when I was younger LOL anyway food for thought

I think he knew who C3P0 was that is why he wanted his memory erased. He could of been afriad of C3P0 would of told Luke about the truth of his father not knowing C3 already had his memory erased.

owen didnt remember having 3po because it would like us remembering a blender we owned 30 years ago. to them they are just appliances.

hum.... well a droid is a droid... and in E2 3PO was not gold plated. MAybe more than one drois have the C3PO name.... They are like tools...I think...
