it might have already said this somewhere but anyway, did you know that the final scene where obiwan delivers luke to his aunt and uncle was filmed during episode 2? Due to civil war within that area or something lucas knew he would not be able to return to that place so went ahead and filmed the final scene of episode 3 during his work on episode 2.

It's mentioned in the DVD for ATC. I just assumed that they filmed it then because it was the only shot they would have to do for Ep III and they would save money by doing it then, rather than bringing the whole film crew and everything out again for that one moment. I haven't heard that there was any local strife that would have prevented them from returning, though many African countries are not known for their stability.

I remember hearing that they shot a scene in tunisia for episode 3 and I just assumed that it was the final scene... but then I heard somewhere that it specifically wasnt the final scene. But, scince I cant tell you what scene it was or where i heard it, you'll just have to ignore me

In the extras disc of AOTC- Lucas is filming in Tunisia and the cameraman asks something like: "Is it true you are filming a scene for Ep III?" Lucas answers yes and goes on to explain that it is to save money and time since they are already here and it is the only scene in Ep III that takes place here. The cameraman asks what the scene is and Lucas replies "I can't tell you that." Lucas then ignores the cameraman and starts playing on Anakin's full scale speeder bike acting as if the cameraman isn't there. I had no idea it was because of a civil war, but it makes sense.

Well i don't know if it was actually civil war lets just say a political dispute between two areas over there or agressive negotiations.

Oh, they still might have filmed that scene during Episode II. But they also might have filmed just the farm background at sunset, too. Just in case they wanted to green-screen it after all. The essential point is that they did NOT go back to Tunisia for Ep III. They just used what they had filmed there, anticipating that final scene.
