Hey, has anyone heard of FLL Robotics? It's where you build a robot out of 100% LEGO, and it does themed challenges. Jedimom, I don't know how old Karm is, but he might want to try it. It was my second year, and yesterday we took the PA Spirit Cup, because we began a friendly riot with a rival team on the floor at the State Championship.
P.S.: It's ages 10-14.

Yea, Karm loves Robo! We went to a presentation at our library about the Robotics a few years back. He was too young then. He'll be 10 in May, but around here they don't have a league until he's 12, so he still has to wait. But we've fooled around with them before and they are awesome! Its amazing what all you have to do and some of those comeptitions are really thought out!

Is that the same as the lego R2D2 that was out a few years ago... well, many years ago? My son had that one, and he also had two of the sets that came with motors and tracking mats and stuff. He had fun with it... now his little brother plays with it.

Leda, it's more like the set with motors and tracks. You get a big playmat and there are obstacles. This year, you had to help LEGO "people" with disabilities.
